Whatstarted in 2001 in Cochabamba, a city in Bolivia, with a small team of six Quality Engineers, has blossomed into a powerhouse of over 1000 employees and collaborators spanning multiple countries.

In 2005, the company presented the XIAN Network Manager, a monitoring tool for components manufactured by renowned brands such as Hewlett Packard, Cisco, and APC. This innovative solution received Microsoft certification and was successfully marketed globally, challenging the misconception that professionals from emerging economies like Bolivia couldn't compete with their counterparts from developed nations.
Jalasoft has also made significant contributions to software development with products like 360ID,Meetpoint, and Cosmic Latte. Last year, we presented Jala Ignite, a blockchain-based HR solution that revolutionizes human resource management processes.
Moreover, this solution is just the beginning of our exploration into cutting-edge technologies. Our R&D team is currently working on other implementations of blockchain, Generative AI, and Metaverse technology, aiming to push the boundaries of innovation and deliver impactful solutions to our clients.

At the heart of Jalasoft's impact lies its dedication to the local tech ecosystem. Through initiatives like job creation, educational programs, and economic development efforts, Jalasoft has played a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of its community.
Fundación Jala, a non-profit organization based in Cochabamba, Bolivia, has been tirelessly working since its inception in 2008 to elevate the level of technological education in our region. Through the provision of scholarships, Fundación Jala aims to contribute to the training of young individuals passionate about technology.
JaqueMate Initiative: Fundación Jala's flagship initiative, JaqueMate, launched in 2015 and ran for six successful years. This program specifically targeted high school students and aimed to bridge the gap in technical education between private and public schools in Bolivia.
The JaqueMate program's results revealed that employing new technologies could rapidly close educational gaps at the school level and empower teachers to achieve greater success. More importantly, the program highlighted a direct correlation between young people's knowledge and familiarity with technical subjects and their interest in science and technology.
Additionally, thanks to Jala's unwavering support, over 1,500 students across Latin America have graduated from intensive bootcamps and specializations since 2004, as an effort by Jalasoft and Fundación Jala.
Bootcamps were designed for junior professionals and were full-time programs lasting 3 to 6 months. All accepted students receive full scholarships.
Specializations for Advanced Students were programs for students nearing the end of their technological degrees or recent graduates lacking work experience. These specialized programs provided hands-on training, including a three-month paid internship and dedicated English language training.
A High-Tech Headquarter Built for a Global Tech Titan
In 2011, Jalasoft achieved a significant milestone with the inauguration of its first high-tech headquarters building in Cochabamba, Bolivia. This momentous event marked a pivotal moment for the company, symbolizing its values of innovation, progress, and technological prowess.
With an area of 17,874.55 m² and described as “a complex that seemed to have been transplanted from Silicon Valley to the corner of Simon López and Pérez de Holguín avenues in Cochabamba” in an article by Rafael Sagárnaga, the new headquarters embodied Jalasoft's commitment to cutting-edge infrastructure and modernity. This state-of-the-art facility provided a fitting home for the company's growing workforce and served as a testament to its vision of excellence in the global technology landscape.
The vision behind this project was to create more than just an office space; it was to establish an environment where work and enjoyment coexist, fostering creativity and innovation. The building houses a large number of offices, complemented by restaurants, a gym, and terraces, with the idea of providing users with leisure and relaxation spaces within their work environment. This holistic approach aims to enhance the overall well-being of the workforce, enabling them to thrive both professionally and personally.
To this day, it remains Jalasoft's home, main office, and meeting point.
