Jalasoft recently concluded its first-ever Developer Week—a five-day event dedicated to learning, collaboration, and innovation. This internal initiative was born out of a desire to bring the spirit of external tech communities into Jalasoft, creating a space for knowledge exchange and fostering a sense of unity among its engineers.
Juan Carlos Calderón Cuellar, a member of the Devs Practice Group, took the lead in organizing this groundbreaking event: “For many years, I have been participating in technology communities from which I have learned a lot. I have met people from all over the world and have found an interesting space where I can share knowledge and help others on their journey. This year, I wanted to bring these valuable elements to Jalasoft, and that is the main reason for organizing the event."
Calderón Cullear had also undertaken the organization of JalaU's TechZone. A free, online event where Jalasoft, Jala University, and Fundación del Saber joined forces to bring the latest news and trends in the tech world to LatAm.
Developer Week featured an impressive lineup of 11 one-hour talks, 15 speakers, and an interactive workshop, attracting over 200 attendees each day from diverse seniority levels across Jalasoft's engineering teams.
