How Techzone was born: a reunion of the brightest minds in the Tech Industry
With over 20 years of experience, Jalasoft is the most important nearshore software development company in Bolivia. Fifteen years ago, as an internal initiative, TechZone was born as a space for knowledge transmission.
For the last 11 years, TechZone has been accessible to the public, hosting in-person sessions in the city of Cochabamba, Bolivia. In 2019, for the inaugural time, it expanded its reach to the city of La Paz, Bolivia. It's worth noting that the event is considered one of the most significant technological events in the region. An example of this is that in past editions a large group of people from other cities in Bolivia traveled many hours to be present each year.
TechZone has undergone a natural evolution for the past 4 years, that aligns with Jalasoft's international expansion beyond Bolivia. TechZone has become what we know today: an accessible, free, and online event. This opens up the possibility of reaching more people in different parts of Latin America and the world.
This event brings together expert speakers in their field, with extensive experience in the software development industry. In this 15th edition, we wanted to return to our humble origins and look within ourselves to showcase the quality of engineers who have been trained at Jalasoft over these 20 years. Therefore, in this version, the speakers are distinguished individuals and technical leaders with significant experience, who are currently working at or have been part of Jalasoft at some point. These individuals now contribute to companies such as Jalasoft, Native Instruments, Motorola Solutions, and Microsoft.
Organized by Jalasoft, Jala University, and Fundación del Saber, we join forces to ensure that at TechZone, you can find a space to explore the latest trends in technology and the latest technologies in software development and connect with experts who will share valuable knowledge.
