As a result, is software QA no longer required? Not really. AI improves speed and efficiency, but human oversight remains crucial. “AI can handle various tasks such as automating test execution, generating test cases, or even identifying some defects,” notes Zeila Benavidez, our Quality Assurance PG member. “However, certain areas—like exploratory testing—demand human judgment, creativity, and domain knowledge.
