Our Educational Programs
Jalasoft is part of the Jala group, which, with over 20 years of experience in delivering world-class educational programs and creating job opportunities, has made a significant impact. We're committed to providing young talents, especially those with limited access to quality education, with the chance to reach international market standards. Our educational programs are designed to attract the cream of the crop, accepting only the top 2% of applicants. Despite the high volume of applications, we maintain a rigorous selection process, offering scholarships to remove financial barriers and ensure equal opportunities for all.
We rigorously evaluate each applicant and tailor our selection criteria to not only meet the demanding needs of the bootcamps but also anticipate the evolving requirements of the industry.

Bootcamps
These programs are meticulously crafted to nurture the next generation of top-tier talent in the tech industry. The latest editions have been provided through Jala University. With stringent selection criteria, only the top 2% of applicants are accepted, ensuring that our programs are populated with the best and brightest minds. Despite receiving approximately 500 applications for each program, only 10 candidates successfully overcome our rigorous evaluation process.
Throughout the history of the Jala group, we have had 80 editions of bootcamps and 110 specializations. The bootcamps are programs offered to young talents who are recent graduates in computer-related fields with up to one year of experience and good English communication skills.
We take pride in having over 1500 graduates from these programs, professionals who meet the highest market standards and working in the tech Industry, many of whom still work at Jalasoft.
Our bootcamps are offered in five themes: Fullstack, Automation Testing, DevOps, QA, and Mobile Development. Students are dedicated full-time to the program and receive a monthly payment while studying with us.
University Degrees
Our more recent commitment to nurturing talent is exemplified by Jala University, an institution dedicated to developing the tech leaders of tomorrow in Latin America.
By immersing our students in comprehensive, project-based learning, we equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the software development industry. Our programs, ranging from four to twelve months, are intensive and focused, offering real-world experience in the latest technologies under the guidance of our expert trainers.
Our star degree is Commercial Software Engineering with a concentration in Design and Architecture. This four-year program consists of two stages. During the first two years, students from both majors will follow a common plan, where they will take conceptual and practical subjects to implement throughout their education.
During the last two years of the program, their education will focus on the skills needed to develop their knowledge in design and architecture, including the development of a thesis project during the final year alongside R&D.
The aim is that students learn to master the best practices of the commercial software industry to develop robust, easily maintainable, scalable applications that foster interaction through a good user experience.
The aim is to focus on processes, methodologies, techniques, and tools for the development of high-quality software systems with international industry standards and practices.
Additionally, Jala University degrees require the completion of The English Second Language (ESL) for the Software Engineering Certificate Program. It consists of a non-credit program for all students that is specifically designed to help students learn and enhance their English language skills for professional communication in the global software industry. The program combines cross-cultural communication skills training, Business English, and English for Software Engineering.

At Jalasoft, our Athlete engineers often surpass the typical skill level found in the market because we train them ourselves, maintaining rigorous standards in exams and proficiency levels. We don’t have juniors, we have Athletes, they bring freshness of mind of a recently graduated, they are full of energy and commitment.
When our newcomers start their training, their performance is evaluated bi-weekly by their trainers according to the five pillars that define Jalasoft’s employees: their immersion in the SDLC, teamwork, adherence to Jalasoft’s values, proficiency in the tech stack, and quality of their code. Our data shows that our Athletes typically become active team members and show productivity within just three months of starting their project-based work.
Due to our stringent standards and rigorous testing, very few reach the level that Jalasoft sets as the standard for becoming a Senior engineer. We take this very seriously, as it reflects not only the expertise but also the dedication and experience accumulated over the years. Just as our Athlete engineers surpass the industry norm, our senior engineers have earned their distinction through years of proven excellence and commitment.
